The T2 Program’s Strategic Framework was developed to serve as a communication and guidance tool for current and future program activities and supports operational expediency and efficiency to advance the movement of NASA technologies from their original mission applications to new uses. It has traceability to a body of executive, legislative, and policy guidance in addition to best practices and processes already implemented within the program.

The strategic framework consists of four strategic goals, along with twelve strategic objectives for program operations:

  • Goal 1 Champion Customer-Centric Culture: Foster a customer-centric technology transfer culture to strengthen relationships and enhance engagement.
  • Goal 2 Foster Collaboration: Promote collaboration to create shared and modernized processes that enable transparent and efficient operations.
  • Goal 3 Enhance Awareness: Enhance awareness and increase T2 outcomes through promotion and advocacy.
  • Goal 4 Expand Impact: Expand technology transfer activities to increase national impact.
