NASA's Method for TCE Detection in Plants Webinar
NASA's Method for TCE Detection in Plants Webinar
About the Event
NASA's Marshall Space Flight Center is developing a hyperspectral estimator to detect trichloroethylene (TCE) in plants. TCE is one of the more prevalent groundwater contaminants in the United States and is a known toxin to humans and animals. This novel technology is being designed as a nondestructive, quick, and low-cost way to screen for TCE across large areas, and NASA has made the technology available to the public through its Technology Transfer Program.
During this webinar, we will give an overview of the technology, review the latest advancements, discuss its benefits and applications, and take questions from the audience.
