Startup NASA Series: The SMART Tire Company
NASA's Technology Transfer Program is pleased to announce the 2nd Startup NASA Feature Series Event. This webinar series provides an opportunity for you to hear about early-stage companies that have licensed technologies developed at NASA and are working to commercialize these innovations.
On May 19, 2021, representatives from The SMART Tire Company, based out of Los Angeles, CA, will be presenting on their revolutionary bicycle tire product called METL. The technology is based on a superelastic tire technology that uses a shape memory alloy (SMA) which was originally developed at NASA's Glenn Research Center.
During this free virtual event, company representatives will share their story with you, including how they got involved with NASA and where they are currently in the development of their new product or system.
